The Emerald Isle has a well established trance community, with the popular John O’Callaghan leading the way. Following not too far behind him is Bryan Kearney, who plays a similar style of trance. Ever since their collaboration in 2006 on Exactly, both of these guys have seen their careers take off as they now play at numerous events all around the world. Last weekend at The Gallery in London, Bryan was asked to spin at the Plastic Fondu party which also featured DJs Lange, Mark Eteson, Protoculture, and Stonebridge. Here is a partial recording of his set from the night, and I gotta say it bumps pretty hard. If you like John O’Callaghan, you will definitely enjoy Bryan’s work because of their comparable tracklists. They often spin from the same group of producers, so you will see names like Simon Patterson, Sean Tyas, Neal Scarborough, and Activa show up often. In fact, JOC can be found on 5 tracks in this 60 minute set so you know how closely they work together. Highlights for me include their recent track Rawdiculous, the amazing Simon Patterson and Greg Downey mashup, and We’ll Never Die. Simon Patterson’s Us and Onova’s Platitude are also solid trance classics. I would love to hear Bryan throw it down live,  hopefully he comes back to California soon.
