The Sensation events (Black + White) have been around since 2000, and have featured many notable DJ’s in the dance community. Thrown by Dutch entertainment group ID&T, Sensation White has always featured many trance DJs as headliners. House music has seen an increase in interest over the past few years, but I believe trance is still the major driving force behind these events. In 2005, the lineup included Laidback Luke, David Guetta, Audio Bullys, Armin van Buuren, Marco V and DJ Jean. Here is Armin’s set from the night, which can be downloaded and burned onto a CD. The theme of the event was Armin’s Serenity, which apparently has influences of Frederic Chopin produced into it. The bootleg for track number 3 is produced by SvD, and Communication Part 3 is always nice to hear. The Nirvana bootleg has become a little bit annoying after so many listens, but its definitely interesting when you hear it for the first time, especially if you were ever into Cobain’s music at all. Anyway here’s the set, and there’s also a live recorded video of Serenity from this night under the download link.
